Experience
I scored in the 100th percentile on the MCAT with a 524, and feel extremely well-equipped to tutor students in any of the sections. In addition to working on clarifying concepts, I also like to discuss test-taking strategy to help students make smart decisions about how they approach the exam and equip them to respond to the kinds of challenges that can arise on test day. Having completed my Biology major and the pre-medical requirements (a year each of chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology, among other requirements) at UPenn, I also feel well-equipped to tutor any of the sciences through an introductory college level, and biology at an intermediate-advanced college level. I have experience in peer tutoring since high school, and have learned how to adapt my teaching style to best suit the needs of the student. I have myself benefitted from taking on a tutor for added support when I've needed it over the years, and hope to give students what my tutors gave me: specialized attention to more quickly diagnose weaknesses and clarify misunderstandings, and more importantly, confidence in subjects that seemed inaccessible. With the MCAT in particular, I hope I can support students in this important step toward achieving their dream of becoming a doctor.

Hobbies
I'm excited to be back in my hometown after five years mostly away. I was in Philly for college for four years, and then I spent this past year volunteering with a nonprofit in India. I just started medical school at Stanford last fall, so though free time is hard to come by, I enjoy hiking, exploring SF, and reading!
