== Writing tutor for high school and college level, SAT == I teach students the fundamentals of strong writing: clarity, structure, and narrative flow. Even the brightest students can find themselves lost trying to put ideas to paper, because many professors and teachers fail to convey the basics. If you are frustrated because your instructor gives you vague feedback that doesn't lead to any long-term improvement, I am ready to help you. I have been tutoring technical and non-technical subjects for four years; students describe me as funny, patient, and kind. I take my work seriously -- lucid writing is a reward in itself -- and I aim to inspire confidence and an appreciation for the craft. Writing well is not easy but it is worthwhile. I think it is important to track a student's progress, so I give parents and guardians regular reports and make a point to highlight milestones. I give students homework and writing exercises between lessons, and I stay in touch by email for questions.
