Experience
I tutored a college student in organic chemistry for one quarter and was happy to see her understanding and homework grades improve greatly. I have been giving piano lessons to groups of elementary school students for about two years. It is incredibly fulfilling to see my students progress and to see their pride in their accomplishments, which is why I want to tutor. I also want to tutor because my best learning has been with one-on-one interactions with my peers and teachers so I know the value of this kind of interaction. SAT: 2170 ACT: 34 AP Chemistry: 5 AP Calculus BC: 5 My classes at Stanford have included linear algebra, multivariable calculus, group theory, and organic chemistry.
