ExperienceI much enjoy tutoring, and have done a lot of it in the past, starting when I was in middle school. At UCLA, I tutored many of my peers in subjects they were struggling in, often helping them to raise their grades to the A range.
I love academic rigor just as much as the next guy, but when it comes to learning a new subject or mastering an old one, intuition is incredibly important. Through my academic journeys, I have come to realize that developing an intuition is paramount; memorizing only goes so far! I will help build your intuition, generate insight, and develop a systematic way of thinking about things in any subject we study.
Regarding relevant classes, I have had graduate and high-level undergraduate coursework in chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and engineering.
HobbiesI have many hobbies, but I suppose my favorites would have to be tennis, piano, and card games--Pinochle and Hearts especially!

I came to Arek understanding an embarrassingly small amount of my differential equations class, all while getting dangerously close to finals. After a number of hours of rehashing much of the course material and working through example problems, I managed to score well on my exam. Thanks a bunch Arek!
